This pic has some Sanwa sticks in a relatively normal base:

For a HRAP or similar shell, you can put WTB threads on various sale/trade forums, or watch the boards very closely. I've seen them sell on the Shoryuken trading forum before, but they sell immediately.

They are definitely not Happ. There is no manufacturer info stamped on anything, so I think the VOOT sticks are all Sega.
Hey Menthol, just now I actually came across an old thread that you coincidentally started at sega-naomi.com. Someone posted the Virtual On service manual online and it actually seems like the original original handle parts correspond to happ part numbers:

http://www.happ.com/joysticks/95006500x.htm

Looking at the pictures of your arcade stick, I can agree that they are certainly not Happ parts... but perhaps the OEM ones that came in the arcade cabs were -- food for thought.

That manual is for OMG, not VOOT. Also I kinda doubt the Japanese cabinets used Happ parts. This post by Jumbo has a scan of a page from an actual VOOT manual with the stick assembly and part numbers:

Yeah the VOOM arcade sticks are different. Honestly I don't really like them, but I think they can take more abuse than the VOOT sticks.

The pic is indeed my cat!

Hi, I updated the third post with more pics of the stick base parts. I fully disassembled it to clean and rebuild them.
